From Thailand’s toughest rings to shaping the UK’s next champions

ORIGINS & FIGHT CAREER

FROM BURIRAM TO BANGKOK

From the rural fight culture of Buriram to the elite battleground of Rajadamnern Stadium, Kru Serdao’s story is built on the foundations of true Muay Thai.

Serado entered the sport at just six years old. Like many Thai fighters, it wasn’t a hobby—it was a way of life. By 12, he had already made the leap to Bangkok, leaving home behind to pursue the fight game seriously.

At the famous Kiatmonthap Boxing Camp, he developed under pressure. The environment was unforgiving. Fighters weren’t given chances—they earned them.

RAJADAMNERN: TRIAL BY FIRE

At just 14, Serdao stepped into one of the most iconic arenas in the sport.

Undersized. Outweighed. No negotiation.

He had to give up weight just to be allowed to fight—but once the bell rang, it didn’t matter. He dominated his opponent and announced himself in style.

Seven straight wins followed.

It was the kind of start that puts a young fighter on the map—but Muay Thai doesn’t hand out easy paths. Over the next five years, Serdao fought consistently on the Bangkok circuit, facing the highs and lows that define every real fighter.

Wins. Losses. Wars.

All part of the process.

DISCIPLINE BEYOND THE RING

At 21, his journey paused

After drawing the red card in Thailand’s military conscription lottery, Serdao served two years in the armed forces. The experience reinforced the same values that defined his fighting style: discipline, resilience, and mental toughness.

When he returned, he went straight back to the fight life—travelling across Thailand’s circuits in Koh Phangan, Koh Samui, and Phuket, taking fights wherever they came.

“You don’t choose the hard path in Muay Thai, the hard path chooses you.”

COACHING LEGACY & UK IMPACT

THE WHITE LEOPARD EMERGES

The next chapter began at Tiger Muay Thai & MMA Camp, a globally recognised fight camp known for producing multiple alite athletes who have gone on to compete and win titles in organisations like Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and ONE Championship.

After racking up over 600 fights Serdao transitioned from fighter to coach and found his true calling.

For over 15 years, he helped develop fighters at the highest level. It was during this time he earned the name “Serdao” The White Leopard, a reflection of his sharp, technical style and composed aggression.

He later expanded his reach internationally, coaching at Tiger Muay Thai’s Singapore branch before eventually bringing his expertise to the UK.

BUILDING CHAMPIONS IN THE UK

Now based in Reading at STMA Academy Reading working alongside Gym Owner/Coach (former ISKA Champion & World K1 Kickboxing Champion) Dan Eden, Serdao is now helping apply his decades of elite-level experience to a new generation of fighters.

The results speak for themselves.

Five junior champions produced in just one year.

No shortcuts. No gimmicks. Just authentic Muay Thai.

Leading the charge is Jimmy Stevenson, a back-to-back ISKA National Champion, who has also secured gold at the Muay Thai GB / WBC Championships.

He now steps onto the international stage representing England on the WSMA show on May 10th.

Jake McFarquhar also added to the team’s success at the ISKA Championships winning a bronze medal fighting a heavier opponent proving the toughness embedded in Serdao’s system.

THE SERDAO SYSTEM

5x junior sessions a week plus regular running and conditioning. A relentless focus on fundamentals. Fighters built from the ground up.

This isn’t commercial Muay Thai.

This is the real thing.

The adults have even more classes from Beginner – Advanced, including fighter only and dedicated open sparring sessions.

“Pressure. Discipline. Heart. That’s what creates champions.”

CLOSING

From Buriram to Bangkok. From stadium wars to world-class coaching.

Kru Serdao’s journey isn’t just about where he’s been—it’s about what he’s building now.
